In this video podcast, John Bradford discusses why Interface started mimicking nature to design eco-friendly products, how to turn concepts into design and offers tips on product innovation through biomimicry. Bradford also shares Interface’s ideation process, called “Out of the Box,” which involves understanding customers’ problems and innate desires, employing biomimicry to develop ideas based on how nature solves these problems, and validating these ideas with Invention Machine’s innovation software.
