OnePetro.org is a multi-society library, operated by the Society of Petroleum Engineers, which provides access to a broad range of technical literature related to the oil and gas exploration and production industry.  Participating organizations include: API, ARMA, ASSE, ISRM, SPWLA, SPEE, SUT, the Offshore Technology Conference and the World Petroleum Council.  OSTI is the Department of Energy (DOE) office that collects, preserves, and disseminates DOE-sponsored R&D results that are the outcomes of R&D projects or other funded activities that take place at DOE labs and facilities nationwide and grantees at universities and other institutions.  The information is typically in the form of technical documents, conference papers, articles, and software, collectively referred to as scientific and technical information (STI).
