Goldfire Community of Innovation establishes a framework for community problem sharing and solving: capturing and leveraging organization learning generated by innovation research and product development activities and connecting innovation workers through active and passive collaboration networking.
Goldfire enables members of the Goldfire community, within a given organization, to more easily and effectively collaborate on problem solving and the sourcing of optimal ideas and solutions. Users can direct their questions to specific audiences, such as a project team or defined email group. Especially important, users can post questions to “topic-specific experts” within their organization. Goldfire identifies these experts - based on what they know - using new semantic processing capabilities. Expert Identification shortens “time-to-solution” by immediately identifying the one or two people best suited to address the problem at hand.
Collectively, an organization’s Problem-Sharing data is indexed as a specialized Knowledge Base – enabling the capture and automated reuse of staff expertise.
